STRONGER TOGETHER Oath

Several people asked after the January 21, 2017 Stronger Together March in Newport, Oregon for a copy of the Oath people took at the end of the Rally.  The first clause comes directly from the Oath of Office the President is required to take in accordance with to Art. II Clause 8 of the Constitution of the United States of America.

I __________(name) do solemnly swear that I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, and will do so through education, activism and vigilance. I will join with others as we pledge our commitment to a bully-free, inclusive, and supportive community. I will work to ensure everyone — regardless of what they look like, where they come from, what they believe in, who they voted for, or who they love — feels safe and accepted.
