Great Opportunity to Testify on Coastal Forestry Herbicides

Dear No-Forestry-Herbicide Advocates:

Beyond Toxics is working to bring Governor Brown’s Environmental Justice Task Force to the Oregon coast so that coastal residents can give them public comment about the environmental problems threatening community health. This is a great opportunity to get close to members of the Task Force about an issue they hear very little about.

The event is in Newport on September 7 (evening for the Public Forum) and September 8 (for the full Task Force meeting).

The Thursday evening time is dedicated solely to a community forum.  That would be a good time to show up to speak and do a meet-and-greet.

You can sign up here, or just use this to send to others and get more community participation:

The meeting is dedicated to any and all issues impacting the health of communities and their environment.

Please don’t hesitate to call me or email me if you have questions.  I really hope to see many of you at the Environmental Justice Task Force meeting in Newport in September! Please share this announcement widely!

Be healthy, Lisa
