The National Organization for Women (NOW) is the largest feminist action organization in the United States. NOW’S priority issues include Constitutional Equality Amendment, Reproductive Rights, Racism, LGBTQIA Rights, Violence Against Women, and Economic Justice.

Central Oregon Coast NOW

The Central Oregon Coast NOW Chapter takes action locally through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life.

Members of the Central Oregon Coast NOW Chapter are automatically members of the Oregon Chapter and the National Organization for Women. Most, but not all, of our members reside in Lincoln County, Oregon. We welcome anyone to join us who is interested in actions benefitting women and girls. Our meetings are always open to the general public.

You can make equality a reality for women and girls in the United States and around the world.

Central Oregon Coast NOW Foundation

The Central Oregon Coast NOW Foundation was formed by the Central Oregon Coast NOW Chapter in 2015 as a separate charitable (501(c)3) organization. “Why?” you may ask.

We started the Foundation because it allows us to keep the funds we raise in our local community to benefit and provide educational opportunities for women, girls, and families.

To further explain, our local Chapter is a 501(c)4 organization, and donations to it are not tax deductible. The Chapter was raising money and doing charitable work; people wanted to donate to help with the charitable work we were doing in the local community, but their donations were not tax deductible. Our Chapter does political advocacy work and the Foundation does charitable work.
